Project SETH is pleased to host another Youth Mental Health First Aid course on November 16th!
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps you identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses. This course is designed to learn how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.
The class will be held at DeKalb County Community Outreach Building located at 2500 N. Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb, IL 60115 from 8 am to 4:30 pm. All are welcome to attend. We encourage high school students that want to learn more about mental health and be able to help their fellow students and friends, coaches, teachers, and counselors. This class is extremely informative for anyone wanting to learn about mental health. It is so important, Project SETH is covering the cost of all participants.
